BMX Race Report - NBL Freedom National Woodbridge, Virginia

Round 7 of the 2007 NBL Elite Series took place this weekend on the East Coast in Woodbridge, VA. One of the most liked tracks on the NBL Elite tour, Woodbridge is a very technical track, that is fast and flows very well. A recent rebuild has made the track better than ever and had the Pros raving about it all weekend. With just 1 US round of UCI points left after Woodbridge, Saturday would be an important day for the North American ranking system for the pros. Here is how the BMXpros.com guys finished up:

Kyle Bennett has made a very quick return to top speed in the Elite class after his knee surgery as once again he was very impressive this weekend, at just his 2nd race back. On Day 1 Kyle had a great result, as he finished 2nd in Elite Men's main event. On Sunday, Kyle backed that up with another 2nd place finish and another great result. Brandon Meadows has been going fast this year and Woodbridge was no exception. On saturday, Brandon was in the Elite Open main event and 7th was the outcome. On Sunday, Brandon was ready to race and he did just that with a 4th in the Elite Men's main event. Cristian Becerine has had an incredible 2007 season so far and with the lead in the NBL points, he is looking to win his first US Pro title.
