NBL
Silver State Nationals Las Vegas, Nevada
The
NBL held round #4 of the 2006 Pro National Series this past weekend
in Las Vegas, Nevada. Along with the NBL Pro series event, it was also
a round of the UCI North American World Ranking series. The Nellis BMX
track is one of the Pros favorites on the NBL Pro tour, with a high
speed, technical track showcasing the pros speed and skills. Randy Stumpfhauser,
Kyle Bennett, and Dale Holmes made the trip to Nellis for the Silver
State Nationals and here is how each one of them finished up in the
main events=

Randy Stumpfhauser has had a great year so far in 2006, with wins in
both the ABA and NBL Pro series events. At Nellis, Randy was consistently
our front, winning motos and in all of the main events that he entered.
With over 25 Pros in attendance, it was one of the toughest National
events to make the finals at this season. On Saturday, it was a long
day for the Pros as they raced both the regular NBL Elite National as
well as the UCI round. Randy looked great and kept the consistency rolling
into the main events, as he placed 2nd in the NBL Elite Series and 4th
in the UCI Finial. On Sunday, Stumpy was on point again, this time with
a 3rd in Elite men. Randy wrapped up a huge weekend in both the NBL
and UCI points chase and looks to be ready for this upcoming weekends
ABA Winter Nationals in Phoenix, AZ. Randy's sponsors include GT Bicycles,
Kenda, ODI, AC, Tangent, Sun Rims, Bombshell, Fly Racing, Powerbar,
CTI Knee Braces, OGIO, X Balm, Tool Shed, SDG, SRAM, Easton, S &
M Bars, Cyto Max, and BMXpros.com.
Kyle Bennett as well as Randy has win sin both the ABA and NBL this
season, and Kyle sits near the top of the NBL pro points. Kyle know
that it doesn't matter where you sit in the points mid season, its all
about after the main event at the NBL grands, so he is working on getting
great results at each event, to put him in title contention come NBL
grands. On Saturday, Kyle looked wicked fast all day long and was in
the NBL elite main event. Kyle was off just a bit on his start, and
Kyle would wind up 8th overall. On Sunday, Kyle was on point all day
and took the Sun Ringle Hole shot award and the $500 to come with it
as he lead the main event all the way up to the last turn, but a small
slide cost Kyle the main event win, giving his a 2nd overall. Donny
Robinson was the winner of Elite Pro both days and congratulations go
out to him. Kyle's sponsors include Free Agent, KHS, Fly Racing, Bombshell
F1 Fork, Sun Ringle, Shimano, UGP, Kenda, Thomson, Utopia Eyewear, THE
Products, S & M bars, ODI, ORP, OGIO, Powerbar, Cyto Sport, and
