ABA US Nationals Tulare, CA April 20-21

Round 8 of the ABA race schedule rolled into Tulare, CA. The Tulare track was awesome and made for some intense Pro race action. With 20 weekends of ABA racing left before the ABA Grands, you would think the riders would be cruising, but each Pro know that every race counts towards the overall title and it gets tough to bring home a win. The Double A Marketing riders were ready to take home some wins, and they did just that, Here is how the Double A Marketing riders finished up in the main events:

Warwick Stevenson had his best weekend of the 2002 season with a slew of great race results. On Saturday, Podge, placed a blistering 1st in Pro Open and backed it up with a solid 2nd in AA pro. Not satisfied with that, he came back blazing fast on Sunday with wins in both AA pro and Pro Open. With the 2 great results in AA pro, Warwick moves into the #2 spot for the ABA #1 pro title chase. Thomas Allier keeps building on his great results this season as well. With making all the main events that he entered into this weekend. On Saturday, Thomas brought home a 4th in Pro Open and 7th in AA pro. On Sunday, Thomas concentrated just on AA Pro and it was a good idea as he finished 2nd overall. Thomas is gaining the momentum that should scare all eh other AA's. Randy Stumpfhauser gets the Ironman award in Tulare, as he race 3 pro classes each day. On Saturday, he was in 2 of the pro mains, placing 2nd in both Pro Cruiser and Pro Open. On Sunday, Stumpy was once again in 2 mains, this time taking the win in Pro Cruiser and 3rd in AA pro. Stumpy is looking good in both the ABA and NBL points standings.
