NBL Spring Break Nationals Sarasota and St. Cloud, Florida

The NBL completed its spring break race week starting off in Sarasota and finishing up in St. Cloud, Florida this past weekend. With a lot of top name riders missing Phoenix to stay in Florida, the pro racing was hot. With the NBL Pro season coming to its halfway point, the riders are after points towards the overall title. Thomas Allier, Jamie Staff, and Randy Stumpfhauser were all in a battle for the Pro title last season, and once again, all 3 riders were standouts at the NBL nationals. Here is how the Double A Marketing riders finished up in the main events.

Thomas Allier Started off the spring break tour in Sarasota with making the AA mains both days, placing a 7th on Saturday and a 4th on Sunday. Then he really turned it up in St. Cloud, as he placed 8th in AA and 1st in Open on Saturday and then a 1st in AA and Open on Sunday. Thomas is looking better and better at each event, and it looks as if he's back to his full speed with the 2 wins on Sunday. Thomas' sponsors include Giant, THE, Oakley, Sun Ringle, Marwi Spokes, Headlock, Revenge, Champion Nutrition, WD-40, Hot Wheels, IRC Tires, ACS Claws, Jan Sport, Lava, Toolshed, Troy Lee Designs, and BMXpros.com.

Randy Stumpfhauser has always been a strong rider, and all of his results from the NBL spring break tour show just that. In Sarasota, Randy finished 5th in Pro Open on Saturday and 7th in AA pro on Sunday. In St. Cloud, Stumpy was in AA both days, placing 5th both days. Randy sits in the top 5 of the NBL pro ranks and is looking to better his national number 4 from last season. Randy's sponsors include Huffy, Fox, Smith Eye Wear, IRC Tires, AC Components, Vans, Marwi, Powerbar, Head Lock, CTI 2, Champion Nutrition, and BMXpros.com.

Jamie Staff was not in Sarasota, as he was off in England racing on the velodrome track to try successfully qualify for England's track team to race in the Goodwill Games, an Olympic Qualifier. Jamie flew into St. Cloud and flew around the track as he placed 3rd in AA pro and 4th in Pro Open on Sunday. Jaime's Sponsors include Haro, Adidas, No Fear, Lee Pipes, O'Neal Helmets, Tangent, AC Components, Smith Eye Wear, Revenge, Champion Nutrition, Answer Forks, Shimano, Powerbar, Kicker, Bob's Stores, BMXpros.com, and Headlock.
