Double A Marketing riders rule Reno!
The
ABA 2004 Pro season kicked off this past weekend with the Silver
Dollar Nationals, held in the Reno Events center. With a new season
upon us, and a lot of sponsorship changes, a lot of riders were ready
to go out and show off their new colors and sponsors, as well as
that they are ready for the 2004 season. It seemed like the
riders best
prepared for the new season were the Double A Marketing riders, as
they were the fastest Pros in Reno, taking home 4 of the 6 Pro wins
for the weekend. Here is how the Double A Marketing riders finished
up for the weekend-
Dale Holmes rode the Reno track with unbelievable speed this weekend,
as he was one of the fastest riders out on the track. On Saturday,
it was all Dale's day in AA, as he won the first AA Pro race of the
2004 season. This was especially sweet for Dale, as 10 years ago
at the ABA opener in Reno, Dale won the AA Pro class. Shows how the "older" Pros
has what it takes to still keep on winning! On Sunday, Dale was once
again in the AA Pro main, this time placing 5th, but still amazed the
crowd with a 2nd place in Pro Open. Looks like another great season
for Dale. Dale's sponsors include Free Agent, KHS, O'Neal, Azonic,
Bombshell, Kenda, Smith Eyewear, Sun Ringle, Profile, Powerbar, BMXpros.com,
Daleholmes.com,
Kyle Bennett debut his new Free Agent colors on Saturday and took
his Free Agent Limo into the AA Pro main. A crash held him back to
7th
for the day, but didn't keep him down long. On Sunday, after being
energized by his team mates AA win on Saturday, Kyle took top honors
in AA on Sunday, bring home Free Agent a lock on the AA Class this
weekend. It looks like it didn't take any time for Kyle to take his
new bike to the top spot of the ABA podium. Kyle's sponsors include
Free Agent, KHS, Answer, Sun Ringle, UGP, Truvativ, Profile, Powerbar,
BMXpros.com,
Randy Stumpfhauser also showed up in his new uniform, for the Hyundai/GT
team and took home a win for himself. On Saturday, Stumpy was in
both the AA Pro main, where he placed 4th and a 2nd in the Pro Cruiser
class.
Sunday was a different story, as Stumpy took home a huge win the
Pro Cruiser class, his first for his new sponsor. Stumpy says this
he is
slow this time of the year, but if that is true, all other pros better
look out for him after the next few races. Randy's sponsors include
GT Bicycles, Hyundai, IRC, Shimano, Fox Racing, Sun Ringle, AC, Thomson

Cristian Becerine has made Crupi proud this past weekend with a great
weekend of racing. On Saturday, Cristian was in both the AA Pro and
the Pro open main events. Looking super fast and smooth, Cristian
finished up 3rd in the tough AA class and 8th in Pro Open. Sunday,
he waned
more and got just that, as he holeshotted the Pro Open main event
and took his Crupi XL Bike to the winners circle. Cristian's sponsors
include
Crupi, O'Neal, Answer, UGP, Sun Ringle, Powerbar, BMXpros.com, Thomson

Brandon Meadows told us that he hasn't had a lot of time on his race
bike, as the weather up in Sacramento has been so bad with rain,
but to watch him aboard his Specialized S-Works bike, you'd never
know
it. On Sunday, Brandon was in the AA Pro main, but a crash held him
back to 7th for the day. Brandon looks forward to dryer weather and
a chance to once again race in the main event in 2 weeks, in Guthrie,
Oklahoma, at the ABA sooner Nationals. Brandon's sponsors include
Specialized, Tangent, Sun Ringle, Powerbar, No Fear, BMXpros.com
