West Coast National, Norba National #2, & UCI
Track World Cup Finials
Once again it was a huge Pro race weekend of all sorts as the Double
A Marketing riders took to three big events. The first was for Randy
Stumpfhauser, Cristian Becerine, Dale Holmes, Brandon Meadows, and
Kyle Bennett at the NBL Pro Series event in Prunedale, CA for round
4 of the 2004 NBL race series. Next, it was Wade Bootes, who flew to
the USA to race the gravity events of Dual Slalom, 4 Cross and the
Jeep King of the Mountain race at the 2004 Norba National series event
in Sonoma, CA. Finally, Jamie Staff was on the other side of the world,
racing at the UCI Track World Cup Finials in Sydney Australia. In each
place, the Double A Marketing riders took home a win and as always,
impressed the fans. Here is how the guys finished up:
Randy Stumpfhauser took
to the BMX track once again at the NBL National and as always was
super consistent. On
Saturday, Randy was in both
the AA Pro Main and the Pro Cruiser main event where he placed 2nd
in AA and won the Pro Curser main event. On Sunday, Stumpy finished
2nd in Pro Cruiser. Randy's sponsors include GT Bicycles, Hyundai,
Fox, AC, Smith, Cytosport, Sun Ringle, Shimano, OGIO, SDG, Thomson,

Cristian Becerine looked great in Prunedale and his huge win in Pro
Open on Sunday capped off a good weekend for him. On Saturday, Cristian
finished 3rd in Pro Open and on Sunday to add to his win in Open, he
placed 7th in AA Pro. Cristian's Sponsors include Crupi, O'Neal, UGP,

Kyle Bennett was in the main both days, but was off just a bit this
weekend of his usual winning ways. On Saturday, Kyle finished 7th in
AA and a 2nd in Pro Open. On Sunday, it was 3rd in Pro Open and 6th
in AA for Kyle. Look for Kyle to be back on top form in 2 weeks at
the ABA Nationals in Bakersfield, CA. Kyle's sponsors include Free
Agent, Answer UGP, Vans, Sun Ringle, ATi, Velo, Profile, Powerbar,

Wade Bootes wanted to start out the 2004 Norba series with a bang
and in Sonoma, Ca he did just that. With a weekend full of racing for
Wade including 4 Cross, Dual Slalom, and the Jeep King of the Mountain
series all ahead, Wade knew he would be busy. On Friday, he did qualifying
for the 4 cross and Wade had the course dialed, as he was the fastest
Pro qualifier. As the race went on, it was apparent Wade was the fastest
rider, as he won all of his qualifiers and went into the main event
as the pick to win. AS the gate dropped, Wade didn't let anyone down,
as he holeshotted and never looked back, taking home the first win
of the 2004 Norba series. On Sunday, Wade was once again on the podium,
this time in 2nd as he just missed out on winning the Jeep King of
the Mountain race series opener, that will be on NBC TV next Saturday
morning. Wade heads off to Big Bear, CA for Next Weeks Norba race.
Wade's sponsors include Trek, Volkswagen, Azonic, Oakley, IRC, JBL,
Powerbar, ATI, Bombshell (BMX) Rock Shox (MTB), Shimano
Jamie Staff also had a busy weekend as he was in Sydney, Australia
for the finial round of the UCI Track World Cup series. The Hyundai/GT
BMX star once again helped his Great Britain Track team to a gold medal
and the honor of being the #1 UCI Track Team for 2004. Jamie will not
concentrate on this summers Olympic games, where he will compete on
the velodrome! Jamie's Sponsors include GT Bicycles, Hyundai, Fox Racing,
Answer Forks, Shimano, OGIO, Sun Ringle, Oakley, IRC Tires, Powerbar,
Cytosport, and BMXpros.com
