BMX Race Report
NBL Lake Mead National, Boulder City, Nevada
Round 4 of the 2007 NBL Elite Points series was held this past weekend
in Boulder City, Nevada. The Boulder City BMX Track is one of, if not
the best BMX track in the NBL track list and this event had the making
of a history making weekend: an all star International field of the
world best Men's and Women's Pros and amateurs, UCI and NBL Pro points,
history making National attendance for an NBL West Coast National, and
perfect race weather. For the Double A Marketing riders, they made history
as well, as they won all of the Elite Junior and Elite Men classes this
weekend, making it a clean sweep for both Joey Bradford and Cristian
Becerine. The other Double A Marketing riders in attendance also had
some impressive results. Here is how the guys finished up:
Cristian
Becerine has won at least one day of the Elite Men's Pro class at the
last 3 national events and this weekend, he was unstoppable, taking
home the win both days in Elite Men's action. At what may have been
the most stacked Pro class in years, Cristian took the win both days
from the gate to the finish line unchallenged. Cristian now holds the
lead in both the NBL and ABA pro points and looks to be on his way to
winning his first year end National #1 Pro title. Cristian's Sponsors

Joey Bradford was just as impressive in the Junior Men's class as he
too took home wire to wire wins both days this weekend. Joey also has
his NBL team debut and they looked great along the front row of teams
with there GT tent proudly set up and information available about all
of the teams sponsors. This kid just does it all and does it all very

Brandon Meadows made a huge statement at the Nellis event, as he was
in the Elite Men's Pro main event both days, aboard his all new Intense
Podium frame. After recovering from a broken femur suffered last year,
Brandon has once again persevered and come back stronger than ever.
Making the main event in the Elite men's class is a huge accomplishment
for any pro and for a Pro coming back from such a huge injury, its just
plain amazing. We are glad to see Brandon getting back to his top form
and the 6th and 7th place finishes this weekend are a huge payoff for

Randy Stumpfhauser looked to be one of the few pros who may have been
able to put a stop to Cristian's winning streak, as on Saturday, he
was untouchable and won every lap on the track all the way up to the
main event. As the gate dropped for the main, Randy was just a bit off
of Cristian and would win up 5th for the day. On Sunday, Randy would
have to watch the main event from the sidelines after unclipping out
of the gate in the semi. Randy is a true pro and congratulated Cristian
on his win. Look for Randy to be back in the mix for the Pro win in
a few weeks at the ABA Winter Nationals. Randy's sponsors include GT
