BMX Race Report
NBL Easter Classic Orlando, Florida
Round
6 of the NBL/UCI 2007 Pro Series tour headed back to one of the biggest
and longest NBL tracks on the circuit, Orlando, Florida. The Orlando
track has been around on the NBL National circuit just about as long
as there has been the NBL and it has quite the history for some great
racing. The 2007 Race held up to the past with some increasable racing
and some action that will go down in history, with Kyle Bennett winning
the Pro Elite Main on Day 1 just one week after returning to the Pro
tour after major Knee Surgery! Kyle and his Free Agent teammate Cristian
Becerine had a great weekend in Orlando. Here is how they both finished
up.

Kyle Bennett raced the NBL Pro series last weekend for the 1st time
in 5 months and made a huge statement with a 2nd place finish in Elite
men. This weekend Kyle said he was feeling better and ready to have
fun and did just that with a triumphant win in the UCI Elite Class on
Saturday. With one of the largest international fields on US soil in
a long time, Kyle easily won the main event from start to finish. Kyle's
determination and help from his new training program from www.bmxtraining.com
. Kyle came back on Sunday and finished 3rd, giving him 3 great scores
in just 2 short weekends of racing, setting him up for a shot at the
NBL #1 Pro plate! Kyle heads off to Spain this weekend for the 1st round
of the UCI Supercross series. Kyle's Sponsors include: Free Agent, Fly
Racing, Bombshell Forks, UGP Products, Kenda, ODI, Sun Ringle, Shimano,
Powerbar, Cyto Sport, ORP, Thomson Seat Posts, and BMXpros.com.

Cristian Becerine went into Orlando with a huge points lead in both
the NBL Pro Series and the halfway check point series the NBL had put
up. This series consists of the best 7 of the Elite Races to date and
the series ended on Saturday. Cristian missed out on the Elite Main
even on Saturday but still had a large enough lead to win the NBL Series
checkpoint and take the big cash home. On Sunday, Cristian was back
in the main event and finished 4th overall. Cristian heads off to Spain
this week for the first UCI Supercross event of the 2007 season. Cristian's
Sponsors include: Free Agent, Fly Racing, Sinz Racing Products, Kenda,
THE Products, ODI, Sun Ringle, Shimano, Powerbar, Cyto Sport, OGIO,
Oakley, Thomson Seat Posts, and BMXpros.com
Randy Stumpfhauser went into Orlando with a shot at taking a top 3 spot
in the checkpoint series and when the day was done, he did just that,
finishing 3rd in the series. The rest of Randy weekend was not up to
his usual performance, but he looks to turn things around at the UCI
Supercross event. Randy's sponsors include GT Bicycles, Kenda, ODI,
Tangent, Sun Rims, Bombshell, Fly Racing, SINZ Products, Powerbar, CTI
Knee Braces, OGIO, SDG, SRAM, Easton, Cyto Sport, and BMXpros.com.
